There is a podcast series that will begin June 29 on the Georgia Public Broadcasting system that might interest you.  It is titled: Shots in the Back: Exhuming the 1970 Augusta Riot.

This year marks 50 years since the May 1970 Riot in Augusta.  It is the South’s only major Civil Rights Era riot.  It affected many of our CCBA members.   Many businesses were looted, damaged, or burned.

Our understanding is that the podcast is a multipart podcasts series that will air every other week on the GPB radio network.  The producer interviewed several members of our community in putting together the work.  The link above will give you info on listening to the podcasts.
