The Laney-Walker Heritage Walking Tour

The historic Laney Walker Corridor in Downtown Augusta was the center of the African American Business community throughout the early to mid 1900’s. Sprinkled throughout the corridor were many Chinese grocery stores.

Corey Rogers, Historian at the Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History, is resuming popular walking tours of historical sites in the Laney Walker Community. Learn interesting local history about our community.
